Imagine the balance of a perfectly mixed cocktail: the sweet, the sour and the sharp all playing together. What if you could get the same sophisticated taste experience in a small, intense glass – without any percentages?
This is where ginger comes in. Ginger root is intense, aromatic and has a noticeable "bite". In shot form, you get the pure, undiluted power that acts as the perfect base for exciting flavor combinations. It's a shortcut to well-being that tastes better.
We've developed a range of non-alcoholic ginger shots inspired by classic drinks. They're made for those of you who want to treat yourself to something extra delicious and healthy. And they only take 5 minutes to make.
We start with the basic recipe, which can be used in the following variations.
Basic recipe:
- 200 g fresh ginger
- 1000 ml apple juice or cold water
- 50 mL Essensur
Start by roughly chopping the ginger. Put it in the blender together with apple juice and your chosen Essence (e.g. Midnight Berry , Plum Stone Mint or Fruit All work well here), and blend thoroughly for a few minutes until the consistency is completely smooth.
Place a fine sieve over a pitcher, pour the mixture through, and let the juice drip off. Use a spoon to press the pulp in the sieve well, so you get the last precious drops. Enjoy the shot freshly made, or pour it into a clean bottle. It will keep in the refrigerator for up to a week or in the freezer for 3 months – just remember to shake the bottle before serving.
